Flow?

I can't keep up.We have done so many things since my last post that I would like to document but I haven't figured out our "flow".Our days and weeks need some sort of flow so that I can get done what needs getting done but I haven't figured it out yet.I feel like we're just blowing in the wind.

The Mexican Fine Arts Museum

We headed over to the Mexican Fine Arts Museum the other day.I love that place.It's the perfect size for kids(not overwhelmingly big)and there's a playground right next door.Oh and did I mention it's free!

NG found a favorite piece of art work.

It was more crowded than usual because they had their Day of the Dead exhibit going on.The shrines were all so beautiful but I think this was my favorite.

It was such a beautiful day.We sat/played in the park for hours and I just felt so thankful for our time together.We're so lucky.

More Christmas presents finished!Yay!So exciting.These will be for my 1yr old nephew.NG had a great time playing with them as I made them so hopefully this will be a toy that will last.

We went to the dollar store the other day and up on a high shelf I saw the perfect bucket for these little guys.We searched the store for more.No luck.I asked a young guy who worked there if there were any more.He didn't bother with trying to find out,just had his fellow young employee pick him up to reach them for me.Awesome costumer service!

I started making favors for NG's birthday!It's not until November but...

NG decided she wanted to have an icecream party so when I saw this tut,I knew they would be great favors.They were really fun to make which is good because I have 6 more to go.HA!

So at co-op I find myself leaving my bag all over the place and then thinking"that's probably not a good idea".I decided I needed just a little bag to hold the essentials(especially since I bring so much other stuff for the art class that I lead).But I can't stand to have a bag hanging on me,even if it is just a little one.

So when I tell MREFJL that I'm going to make a little pocket to tie on my waist he says "you mean a fanny pack."NO!!A waist wallet.A pocket pouch?Ok,it's a fanny pack.Whatever...

Well,I got the attic together enough to lay out a rug for NG to play on which has been a big hit with her.And while she happily played in our new "club house"I made another Christmas present!!

I so love making these buckets.And Ng was able to guess who this one was intended for.That made me feel like I had done a good job choosing fabrics.

I'm loving our days.
